Her passion for honoring integrity in construction began when, as a child, Mike Holmes rebuilt her family’s home after a devastating renovation. That act of kindness shaped her lifelong belief that the best builders don’t seek recognition—they simply do what’s right. Through Built America Magazine, Tamara continues to spotlight those who build with purpose and compassion, while giving back to causes close to her heart, including Make-A-Wish and Canadian Blood Services, inspired by her child’s journey as a bone marrow transplant survivor.
